What file types to you accept? Just about any; however, some are easier to work with than others. Visit our File Specs page for details.
How long will the design of my project take? This depends on the project; some projects only require a couple of hours, some take twenty to complete. Talk with the Design Team for details--we'll give you an accurate time estimation based on our previous work, as to how long your design will take. And remember, the more that your files match our file specs, the less time we'll require to set it up.
What is the difference between your 2 design rates? • The Production rate is used on pre-existing artwork that the Design Team is given that needs 1. modifications made to produce a press-ready file OR 2. minor changes, such as text editing, image replacement, size changes, etc.
• The Creative Design rate is used when the Design Team creates the artwork/layout from scratch, from separate elements provided by the client, or greatly modifies an existing design or layout (provided by client) to create a new piece. This rate often includes consultations between client and designer, and the creation of concept(s) for the artwork/design/layout.
Why am I being billed for design time when I supplied my OWN design? Most files that we work with require a minimal amount of production time in order to make them press-ready. Often this time is used to inspect the files we receive, to make certain that they meet our file specifications, and then to correct any discrepancies we find. You can often reduce this billed production time by making certain your supplied artwork meets our file specifications.
